Game 5 Youth Football Results

Game 5 Youth Football Results
The 3-4 grade youth football team I’m coaching this year won a conference game by the score of 50-12 this past weekend to move to 5-0. . We were up just 26-12 in the second quarter before blowing it open just before the half.
Things we did well:
For 5th straight week, zero bad snaps
No fumbles by any first team ball handlers
Tackled well
Alignments on defense were almost perfect
1 penalty for 5 yards
Pace
Execution
Blocking assignments and base technique
Conditioning (It was over 100 degrees on the field turf)

We have flaws and lots of things to work on. Right now we are doing a lot of cross training for positions as our kids have their base position pretty well nailed down. As always when we are playing well, we are adding. Two new nuances on defense and 3 new plays or nuances on offense. We presently have 14 plays and 3 adjustments in place on offense. After practice on Thursday we will see if the new stuff is being executed well enough to be part of the game plan on Sunday.
